  1. I have started an electric conversion, and am blogging it here on wordpress. I am shoping potential sprockets. What kind of rear sprocket did you use? Is it aluminum? Is wear an issue? Thanks!

  2. Hi. It was a 48 tooth aluminum rear sprocket made for CB750F, CB1000 and CB1000R. Considering that the electric motor will be a lot less demanding for the sprocket, I wouldn’t think there would be any issues using aluminum sprockets.
